Mugogo Site Description

This is a typical rural site in situated approximately 113 km away from Kigali City and away from high concentrations of vehicle emissions and industries. This site is located in the Western Province of Rwanda, Nyabihu District on the summit of Mt. Mugogo. This is An open countryside location as far away as possible from roads and populated and industrial areas.The station is located on the roof of the observatory building at approximate 10m above ground level. There is no nearby air pollution major sources part from the rural houses surround by trees located in the vicinity of the station
